Capturing the persona

The portraits I enjoy the most are taken in a comfortable and relaxed ambience. I try achieving this by keeping things simple, shooting with my beloved Leica and using the available light, but above all, always talking to the person. Establishing a conversation allows me to capture that fraction of a second, that little smile or a bit of an attitude that depicts the human behind.
